Responsibilities:
Duties vary somewhat. Along with managing the piping design team, the lead would also have other responsibilities including the following:
o Maintain Critical ISOs and CAR items o Review all FCRs & ATO Requests and assign resources based on skillset and schedule. o Manage peer reviews on all projects o Mentor newer/less experienced designers o Be involved in the hiring process o Have weekly toolbox meetings o Handle most disciplinary situations What You Will Bring o Minimum 10 years experience in Piping Design o Minimum 5 years PDMS Design and Draft experience o Minimum 5 years Bentley/Microstation experience o Must be capable of leading piping portion of design package for review meetings o Must have thorough knowledge and understanding of PID's for Production design o Must be able to provide Piping Isometrics utilizing PDMS design software o Must be able to provide Pipe Support/Hanger packages o Must be able to provide a comprehensive Material Take-Off o Must be able to provide field assistance during design, planning and construction phase o Must provide piping related expertise to CSE engineers and FLS personnel as required o Must be able to verify Manhour estimates of design for cost control o Required to engage in Constructability Review with work groups o Coordinates/Integrates piping package with other design disciplines o Required to Perform Peer Reviews for other piping designs o Required Safety program and presentation participation o Knowledge of SharePoint is a plus o Knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint is a plus
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
Mechanical Engineering, Civil EngineeringEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
