Operational Sales Coordinator

The successful candidate will assist in preparing proposals, marketing documents and presentations, commercial pricing of proposals, and maintaining files of all commercial documentation provided to clients. The person will work under the direction of a senior Operational Sales representative who will provide mentoring and coaching. The successful candidate will possess the following attributes: strong customer focus, goal oriented, able to work under schedule constraints, commitment and flexibility to meet deadlines, accurate and detail oriented, disciplined in maintaining records, and ability to work with broad range of people, including clients, senior management, and other offices. Supports the development of sales documents using applicable tools, guidelines and templates in compliance with our corporate identity.
Coordinates response efforts for client questionnaires, qualifications requests, small sales opportunities (letter proposals), and volumes/sections on larger opportunities.
Coordinates, writes, reviews, and edits text, graphics, and metrics for sales documents such as proposals, qualifications, and presentation slides.
Review client requests for proposals (RFP's) and assure the proposal fully complies with documented client requirements
Collaborates with the designated sales team to establish and populate dedicated core client information repositories (e.g. SalesForce), and supports the development of documented client strategies and related information.
Proofs and edits technical and non-technical documents for consistency.
Organizes and participates in response-related meetings (internal and/or client), as appropriate.
Coordinates production of response documents (printing, copying, binding, shipping).
Updates/maintains non-opportunity specific / additional sales qualification and reference materials (including project descriptions and organization charts).
Provide graphics and desktop publishing support.
Provide assistance to sales management for the preparation of weekly/monthly sales reports.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing or technical or related discipline from a four-year college or university.
Strong capability in Microsoft Office suite and with proficiency in database applications. Strong communication skills.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
