Position Summary
This individual has management responsibilities for several departments within project controls, material controls, procurement, planning/scheduling and estimating, project support, and/or other office/support services areas. Responsibilities include planning, directing, supervising and controlling technical and administrative functions of these departments and working closely with
operations and project management with regard to the services provided. Additionally in this capacity, this individual prepares budgets, business plans, quarterly financial data and financial forecasts. As the senior level position, the incumbent works closely with operations management to implement procedures to monitor and control G&A expenses and has an active role in the overview of budgetary items for the overall operation.

  • Provide full support to meet all Jacobs HSE (Health, Safety and Environmental) goals and demonstrate full commitment to BeyondZero .
  • Ensure that all business activities adhere to the utmost ethical practices and conduct.
  • Develop and maintain Client Relationships.
  • Ensure client expectations are met or exceeded by MOP and all those reporting up through MOP s area of responsibility; this includes both internal and external customers.
  • Evaluate and analyze Profit and Loss for all projects assigned. Each MOP is responsible for ensuring the Project Managers meet or exceed the As-Sold plan of Revenue and Gross Margin.
  • Ensure the Project Managers maintain a positive Cash Flow for all of the MOP s projects. Improve accounts receivable conditions and as a minimum meet contractual requirements.
  • Actively participate in Admin Reviews (AR) and Operational Project Reviews (OPR) for all MOP assigned projects to allow an opportunity for dialogue with projects and feedback from employees.
  • Participate in all Bid / No-Bid discussions for new and existing work for all assigned and new clients.
  • Expand the Jacobs suit of services to assigned Clients for all applicable site locations.
  • Establish and maintain the roles and responsibilities for the Project Managers assigned to the MOP s projects. This shall be coordinated with the Manager of Project Management.
  • Develop and implement a Personal Development Plan, including a training plan for the Executive Project Managers assigned to the MOP s projects. This shall be coordinated with the Department Manager of Project Management.
  • Fully support Jacobs mentoring program and People Development processes, including proactive participation and timely interface with employees in the mentoring program and assisting in the movement of personnel between projects and assignments.
  • Work with other MOPs as a team for the benefit of the corporation and to provide support for the overall Jacobs objectives.
  • Passion and enthusiasm is expected as a member of the Leadership Team, including regular participation in employee related activities.
  • Drive and align with Vice President of Operations vision.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience required, BA or BS or related experience
  • Extensive experience in engineering and construction work process and activity sequence
  • 10+ years EPC experience
  • Experienced in using and understanding earned value progress
  • Experienced in all phases of home office engineering
  • Experienced in construction management planning and scheduling
  • Large capital project experienced
  • Experienced in understanding financial requirements for successful project results with an emphasis on achieving the project s Total Installed Cost (TIC).
  • Laser like focus on change management.


Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
